10月15日下午，國防部新聞局局長、國防部新聞發言人吳謙大校就近期涉軍問題發布消息。
記者：據報道，以色列國防軍近日襲擊了聯合國駐黎巴嫩臨時部隊。請問中方對此有何評論？中國維和官兵目前是否安全？
Question: The Israel Defense Force recently attacked the United Nations Interim Force In Lebanon (UNIFIL). What’s your comment on this? Are Chinese peacekeepers safe?
吳謙：中方對以軍襲擊聯黎部隊表示嚴重關切和強烈譴責。聯黎部隊根據聯合國安理會決議的授權執行維和任務，中方堅決反對任何攻擊聯合國維和人員的行為，要求對事件進行調查，對有關人員進行問責，并采取切實措施，杜絕類似事件再次發生，沖突各方必須切實保障聯黎部隊人員和資產安全。
Wu Qian: China is seriously concerned and strongly condemns the Israeli military’s attack on the UNIFIL. China firmly opposes any attack on UN peacekeepers. We require a thorough investigation on the incident and hold those responsible accountable. We urge relevant parties to take real actions to prevent such an incident from happening again. The parties involved in the conflict must ensure the safety of the personnel and assets of the UNIFIL.

The Chinese peacekeeping units in Lebanon are safe now. China is closely monitoring the security situation in Lebanon, and will take additional measures to strengthen security protection of our troops.
